Saturday 12th November the showgrounds will host the Megalong Makers Market. https://megalongmakers.wixsite.com/megalongmakers. Each market is a Megalong Valley local selling products such as soap, fresh produce, honey, woodwork, macrame, jewellery, crafts, olive oil, wine and more.

Camp the Saturday night, enjoy a casual bbq and bonfire at the grounds before a big Sunday at the Gymkhana.

The Gymkhana is a historic event for Megalong. Held by the community, for the community. It is a relaxed atmosphere throughout the grounds with well stocked bar and bbq kitchen. Watch the various horse races throughout the day, or the Woodchop events. 

​

While the horses rest all patrons will be invited to get involved in some novelty events. The classic tug of war, egg and spoon, sack races, egg toss and mintie man will all be happening on the day.

On the side lines will be further entertainment such as market stalls, displays, horse rides, historic memorabilia and of course the Woodchop!!
