SAFETY

Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Photo ID is required to purchase alcohol regardless of your age. It is illegal to provide minors with alcohol and anyone caught doing so may be prosecuted and ejected.

Riders will be provided with wristbands, this prevents you from purchasing alcohol. If a rider is seen to be drinking alcohol, no further competing will be permitted. 

Remember to bring ID, your ticket, sunscreen, any medication you may need, a hat, charged mobile phone, pen, still camera.

If you have any chronic conditions or illnesses (ie asthma, diabetes, epilepsy) be sure to carry information regarding your condition & emergency contact number on you at all times.

Make sure you dress in accordance with the weather forecast. Wear sensible shoes & clothes and bring a raincoat if needed.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

Under extreme & unlikely circumstances a building, area or the entire site may be required to be evacuated or cleared. It will be imperative for you to follow all instructions & directions from emergency services, police, fire brigade & / or the volunteers that would be requested of you in such a situation. Remember these people are only there to help, so please pay attention.

FIRST AID

There will be St John's First Aid located near the oval to treat people who have injured themselves on the day or are ill. Please follow direction signs.

FREE WATER

Free unfiltered rain water is available for refilling water bottles. If you don't want this water, please buy bottled water available at the bar. 

​

PARKING

Parking for cars towing floats will be available within the showgrounds, disabled drop off will also be available within the showgrounds. General car parking will be located approximately 100m walk away.

ACCESSIBILITY

Disabled drop off and access to the event is accessible and a disabled toilet is available in the hall. 

​

SMOKING

The venues may be subject to state public smoking law enforced by state health authorities. If so, Designated smoking areas will be available for patrons to smoke. Please don’t smoke in or around the venues except in designated areas. Please be mindful of children.

RUBBISH

Please pay attention to the bins on site, we are doing out best to split up bottles, recycling, general waste and compost but this takes commitment from patrons more than anyone else. 

 

TICKETS

Adult entry ticket is $10, child entry ticket is $5. To compete in horse races/events it is $4 per event or $30 for unlimited events. Prices are excluding booking fees.

You can buy tickets online via eventbrite link once available. 

A limited number of tickets will be sold on the gate. Please limit traffic congestion and line ups by purchasing tickets in advance.
